I confess. I am a cookie monster. I love to bake cookies, simply because I love to EAT cookies. 

And when homemade cookies are no where to be found, I am happy to gobble up these tasty cookies I've  found in Japan. When I mentioned them to a Japanese friend, she said they were supposed to be snacks for little children. Well, they are good just the same.  These crunchy chocolate mini-bite-sized cookies with chocolate chips are a nice snack for adults too. They are not too sweet in typical Japanese fashion and this little package is just 70 cents, so a not-too-guilty-pleasure. A nice compliment to an afternoon cup of tea.
