I am a fan of white twinkle lights. We put these up several years ago for the first Christmas in this apartment and they have stayed up ever since. They cheer the winter days where we have little sun coming in through our windows. Granted they do add to the electric bill...ouch, just paid last month's. But especially throughout this past Covid year of staying home more we are happy to pay a little extra for the added merriment this soft, mood-lighting brings.

Just in case you are wondering....Yes, that is a laundry pole in the top right corner of the picture.  And yes, Tim does bump his head often going in and out of our little living room.
