It's not a loss.

It's a gain. 

We aren't losing a son, we're gaining a daughter. 

An addition to this crazy family that is always moving somewhere and 

always tackling some kind of transition. 

My head is still spinning...and still aching. 

Tears flowed freely at the wedding, but 

 my heart overflows with joy and thanksgiving. 

God is so good.

New relatives. A new stage in life. 

Yet new mercies each morning

as we proclaim

Great is His faithfulness.
