A magical night of lights and lanterns. Laughter and Love.

How thankful we are for a wonderful Rehearsal dinner.
Hosted in our friend's beautiful backyard, we rented tables, borrowed chairs and bought table cloths.  A mix of our worlds, we ate authentic Japanese food in our California hometown.
What could be better?

With decorations made and bought from the 100 Yen store
we transported our guests to our cherry blossom filled Asian home.

We couldn't have done it without soooooo, soooo many friends who helped. Especially since we just arrived in America 2 weeks ago.  The boys made stamped chop-stick holders and silver origami cranes to hang on silver painted branches that a friend collected last February.

Our friends barbecued YAKITORI (chicken skewers), fried GIOZA (pot stickers) and made sticky white rice.  The MKs that filled the wedding party, as well as my own MKs, were elated to be eating some of their all time favorite food.

Celebrating the coming-soon wedding of our oldest son and our new daughter-to-be!
Adding another Driscoll is just too much fun!

So wonderful to see my sweet nieces and nephews who bravely tried chopsticks.....

.....and who beautifully baked cupcakes.

Such a treat to be with my mom and sister, my whole family all together,
something that only happens every few years.

Moments of love and laughter that are tenderly saved in my heart and mind, for years to come.
