Just stopping a few minutes to ponder God's grace in our lives....
21 years together loving and sharing Jesus,
forgiveness and forebearance,
joys and blessings...
What a privilege to be promised to one another through all the ups and downs.
I couldn't ask for a better partner in love, life and ministry.
I know God lead us together along this winding road of missionary life that often leaves me winded. Broken and stretched to have a little more of Jesus seen in me, growing to have a little more of His heart to draw others to Himself.
Sitting quietly one rare early morning a few weeks back I was thinking on these blessings when I saw this little reminder of God in our lives. Usually I complain about all the wires and lines and poles obscuring the desired Tokyo view...but not this morning. This day it reminded me that God uses the things I usually fight and complain against, to bring scope, perspective and light. If it wasn't for that mangy, hanging wire, there would never be a perch for 2 doves seeking together the warmth, energy and inspiration of the first morning's light. God always uses the hard things to bring good things. Once again I am clinging with you, to the promise of His continued sovereignty, grace and leading as we keep walking this road together.
