"Travel". It's any missionary's middle name. That and "Flexibility".
We've already logged many miles on the quest to reconnect with churches and family. Our road trips have not been uneventful though with car trouble and then seemingly lost passports that changed our travel plans several times at the last minute. Also it seems we have had one thing after another not work: cell phone, computer, e-mail....In the midst of all the confusion, tiredness and uncertainty, our Sovereign God has heard this family's prayers for help and grace. And He has, step by step made the road straight before us.
Even though long hours in the car can be tiring, especially for the kids, I never tire of looking out the window and soaking up the beauty of America. Even the kids commented, "Wow, you can see all the way to the horizon...in every direction!" Just one of the many blessings tucked in to these traveling summer days.
