One of the many highlights this summer was meeting up with these missionary women. The last time we were all together was 12 years ago during our family's first home assignment. What a life savor these women were! Since all 3 of them lived overseas in Japan or Thailand, they understood this missionary mom's struggling heart. As we met regularly throughout that first year back in the US my heart was encouraged through our prayer, sharing and Scripture memory accountability times. God helped me through these precious times together to navigate my heart through the struggles of reverse culture shock and the nitty-gritty day-to-day of how to live out the odd role of a missionary on home assignment. Thanking God for these sweet woman with beautiful feet and hearts of gold.
