Lead me in a Straight Path

To be honest yesterday we were feeling pretty down. I guess that is natural. Our prayer-goal-date for our support to come in (June 24) has come and gone. Even though we have sort of known for a few weeks that we would probably be delayed, it still hit us hard.

In the midst of this disappoint, God sent encouragement. We got a phone call from an elderly lady at church who wanted to support us for a generous amount on her small, fixed income. Just another needed reminder that God is clearly leading us back to Japan.
We know this home assignment path we've been on will end with us back in Japan. But there has sure been a lot of twists and turns along this bumpy way. Yet, we are confident to say that our loving God is gently guiding us in His perfect way.
