We just got back from a week of traveling around the northern part of the main island of Honshu in the beautiful prefectures of Aomori and Akita. Even though it was a ministry based trip, we thoroughly enjoyed the autumn scenery, so different that what we have in Tokyo. Whether it was driving through orange dusted mountain passes or walking along countryside orchards ripe with fruit, these brilliant colors amazed us and we couldn't help but proclaim the praises of our marvelous Creator.
We've realized that throughout the last year and a half of Covid we have really missed worship, I mean the corporate rejoicing together kind; where we are proclaiming in song with others the goodness of our God and His truths that sustain us. We have missed the special times together with our brothers and sisters at our previous ministry; singing and leading worship together which was one of our favorite aspects of that church. So between Covid and a new church, we have experienced worship-withdrawals. So we have had to find ways for our hearts to be reminded to sing.
As I've shared before, listening to worship music at home has been a lifeline for us. Recently we came across a very gifted Japanese worship group called Ruah Worship. We know these young people personally and their hearts and lives reflect the songs they sing. So listen in with us to these Japanese praises, as we lift up the One who created all the fall beauty around us.
