Once we hit the hot summer, one of my weaknesses is to stop at a cafe for a refreshing drink. When I am riding my bike in the 90 degree humidity, I am ready for a break part way through shopping. This morning I didn't feel too guilty for this splurge of $4.50 for a "breakfast set" (before 11am). And the cheesy honey waffles actually made a nice snack to keep me going.
I think it is better than taking too long of a rest in the nearby shopping mall's restroom, as warned about in the sign by the toilet. I assume the pictured little person is on their cell phone. They obviously couldn't find a cool seat at the busy train station to rest their tired feet.
So instead of sitting on the toilet seat, I'll enjoy by bar stool and counter spot, looking out the window and sipping my iced tea. Sitting a while in the AC gives me a chance to catch my breath and do a little people watching; all adding up to a pleasant morning off.
