If these walls could talk...

On my most recent day off my creativity went to work. I bought this little mini chalkboard at the 100 Yen Store (a.k.a. Dollar Store in Japan). The wood trim was unfinished and a little blah so I took a grey crayon too it. Walah. Looked like stain. I added the rope hanger with my glue gun. I hung it on a nail just above the old yard stick (found at Thrift Shop, of course).

Since we have lived here almost 7 years now, (The longest we've lived anywhere. Woohoo!!) the paint-wallpaper is pretty grimy. I hung the chalkboard to cover a big ugly spot on the wall where the old water heater controls were. Afraid I couldn't find anything big enough and high enough to cover that unsightly fuse box.
