Missionary Life is....

Missionary life is uncertainties. It's learning to be flexible. It's not knowing what is just around the corner and being ok with it. It's knowing God is bigger than your smallness. It's trusting God that He will give you a place to stay, a car to drive.  It's trusting God to take care of your kids when you can't. It is trusting God with your bank account, trusting He is saving for a rainy day and will take care of you when life pours. It's traveling and packing. It's unpacking and packing again and rolling your life  in a carry-on. It's hours and hours of sitting in airports. It's making the best of difficult times. It's making a little go a long way. It's choosing to be a good sport instead of complaining. It's feeling stretched and knowing your good God is holding the rubber-band securely. Missionary life is full of chances to step out of your comfort zone to find comfort alone in God. Missionary life lets you see Jesus save the day, so that you can testify that He is indeed your Save-ior.
