Left behind, pressing onward.
As 4/5ths of the family has hit American soil, I remain here with feelings of longing for those who have gone ahead. Life seemingly the same. English classes with Bible 1 points, Bible studies with people who have a desire to know more, small groups and preaching. All remains the same, but with a large void in my heart. Something missing that is usually there....a loving, beautiful wife and precious kids, our treasures. All these, gifts of God, that are easily taken for granted.
Times and transitions like these are cause for reflection. In the midst of sadness, Joy from God as I remember that every good and perfect gift is from Him and the assurance that He is always holding us tightly in His living arms.
