Give Thanks to the Lord for He is Good

Sure wish you were coming through our front door
 to spend this holiday weekend together.   

Sure miss you this quiet Thanksgiving morning.
Sure don't like that empty chair at our table and that empty spot in my heart.

Sure thankful though.

That our friends and family are loving on you.
God is loving.

That we look forward to a long Christmas break with you here in Japan.
 God is Good.

That the loving God who holds me up, holds you close.
 God is Faithful.

Sure thankful that you are ours.

And that we are His.
