We enjoyed a quiet day today celebrating Thanksgiving just the 4 of us. As usual we had our holiday sweet rolls for breakfast. We missed you Big J! We made an extra platter to give away to some friends we have been thinking of and praying for lately.
This year we made a
Thanksgiving tree. I forgot to get some dry twigs and since it was raining this morning I just grabbed our lemon tree and plopped it on the table. I downloaded these
cut-out-leaves and we wrote things we were thankful for on the back of each leaf, then tied them on. Such a great, yet simple way to focus our thoughts and hearts on all of God's blessings. I hope this becomes a new family tradition.
