This was the first time we heard our oldest son sing in a choir concert. Now, finally in his junior year, we were sitting along with all the other parents in the Spring High School Concert. My heart was warmed and I couldn't help smiling as my eyes were glued to him. What a privilege to be together again as a family this past year, to cheer our kids on at basketball games and feel a part of their daily life at school...something we will never take for granted.
I remember so many tear-filled goodbyes at the airport. Doesn't he look too little to send off on a plane down
to Tokyo and then 3 trains
across Tokyo? But, he did it. And he even smiles about it with good memories of how God grew him and sustained him through those 3 years of boarding as a middle schooler.
