experiencing a Japanese burger

A few months ago, I snagged one of the boys after church and we headed for a date at one of my favorite restaurants in Japan. It's a little pricey ($8 for a small burger, fries and small coke) so it was a real treat to eat there. Don't get me wrong, it doesn't compare to a good American burger, but it is good in it's own Japanese-sort-of-way. This quaint little hamburger chain (pronounced "mow-sue baa-gaa") also serves onion rings, a hard to find treat here.
There are a variety of burgers, but my favorite has a kind of bland chilly and onions sauce on it with a thick slice of tomato. It makes for a messy meal, but well worth it. Most Japanese eat hamburgers with the paper wrapped around the burger anyway.

It really isn't good that there is a Mos Burger on the way to the train station coming home from church, especially when you are tired and hungry at 2-3 pm on a Sunday afternoon. We sure had a fun date though. I will just have to make it fair and take my other 2 boys there on dates too, don't you agree?
