You will laugh at this one...I love having brown paper bags. We almost always have plastic bags in Japan. I know, it seems a bit strange, but I thing it's kind of old fashioned and "American" feeling to have paper ones (don't worry I reuse them over and over to try and be green). Plus these bags look very festive printed in red and green holiday greetings.I also like using my reusable canvas and nylon grocery bags that are so popular here in California. I hope to take a couple back to Japan. Since these cloth bags are so big and sturdy, it will be much easier to tote lots of heavy groceries (like milk) home on my bicycle.
