I love reading out loud to the kids. This year we have borrowed some great books from a series called "Christian Heros -Then and Now" (YWAM Publishing) that we have really enjoyed. Our favorite books have been about missionaries like; Eric Liddle, Amy Carmiclhael, Jim Elliot and Gladys Aylward. Next on our list to read are Hudson Taylor and Nait Saint.
Wow. Some of the things these missionaries faced were really tough, yet they were faithful to share the gospel in those far off places to the very end...which does indeed make them TRUE HEROS.
