Lately we have been blessed by avocates in our lives, otherwise known as "Fans in the Stands".An advocate is someone who believes in you and your ministry. They don't stop there though; they take it one step further. They try to tell others about you and what God is doing through you. They challenge others to hop on board to be a vital part of your ministry through prayer and giving. Since the advocate already has the "in" with the group, he uses that established trust relationship to be a bridge for you. We are always on the look-out and praying for advocates in churches, Sunday School classes, small groups, Bible studies and prayer groups during our home assignment.
This last week when God just droped several of them in our lap, our socks were blessed right off! What a wonderful reminder that God is at work all around us with His blessings awaiting just around the corner.
