Trusting is Tough

Often God puts us in a place of waiting and uncertainty. It is here that we have to trust.

Lately as we have found ourselves in "God's waiting room". I have wrestled with aspects of my daily walk, things like: faith, prayer and God's leading. Especially, faith. Yes, I have faith that God can and even will bring in our needed financial support so we can return to Japan this summer....yes, I have faith that God is bigger than the dismal economy...yes, faith that He can do a miracle.

But, ultimatly my faith is in God. And in God alone. His Word tells me who He is and what His promises are to me. Those things don't change....my prayer requests do. So we continually cling to these things that never change: God is faithful, God will provide for all our needs, and God will lead and guide us in the way that is best.

I love the sign that greets you as you walk into OMF's International Headquarters in Singapore. It declares just what God has been reminding me lately, I have faith in my faithful God.
