We are so thankful for God's family that made such an effort to welcome us back to the U.S.Several church friends met us at the airport. It was great to see familiar faces as we wearily got off the plane. Another thoughtful friend made these cards for the boys with pictures of kids from their Sunday School class, signed by each student. Someone also put up welcome posters at church for the kids announcing our family's arrival. Then another church friend brought us a meal when we first movied in. Families from our adult Sunday School class also donated spices, paper goods, condiments and food items to fill our empty cupboards. We were also given sheets, furniture, and a dvd player, while others donated money for a mattress and helped us tile our bathroom floors and replace a door.
All these precious gifts of time, energy, service and money helped us transition a little easier to our new home here in the States.
