We just got back from a whirlwind weekend. Sandwiched between a 9 hour car trip each way was 48 hours of visiting friends, family, individual supporters and a supporting church. In that time we were in 8 different homes, 2 different beds and 1 new Sunday School class.
Yes, our kids have learned to be flexible. Offen that means sitting quietly in the car and even quieter at someone's house, sleeping anywhere, eatting almost anything placed before them and being social-able with just about anyone. A missionary friend of mine once said, "Flexibility is a missionary's middle name". And if it doesn't come naturally, you learn it quickly to survive.
Even though we came home exhausted, we were blessed and encouraged by so many dear people this weekend who showered us with free food and free lodging and priceless fellowship.
