I would love to sit down (face to face of course) and hear how you have made this strange and difficult situation work.
For us, there are 2 aspects of our stay home days that have helped us cope:
1. We have ran, walked and/or biked twice a day. We are so thankful for a bike path just a few minutes walk from our apartment. And even though there has been more people than normal, we can go when it isn't too crowded and get by without masks. Fresh air, open skies and river views have been the best thing for us. The exercise has helped us stay fit and sleep well at night in this sedentary state.
2. We have spent a lot of time in our mini garden. We have 2 sliding glass doors that look onto a 15x10 foot yard. (We are so thankful for these big windows, which were the selling point on renting this apartment.) By cutting the weeds short it sort of looks like grass and with a little outdoor table and chairs on the narrow patio, we have a place to read our Bibles and soak up some sunshine. Even though neighbors from the towering apartment in front of us can see us, we have relative privacy and green bushes hem us in. We've enjoyed digging in the soil of our little urban garden and trying our hopeful green thumb with some herbs and veggies.
