God's beauty Blossoms

I love this time of year.  Even in the midst of snow flurries the plum blossoms are whispering that spring is just around the corner.  Bright bossy fuchsia's, blushing pinks and simple, classic white petals all bid me a greeting. Their beauty surrounds me on every side (even in the empty lot behind our house).

I can't tell the difference between these and the famous, adored cherry blossoms.  The trees and flowers look the same to me. I just know it is too early for cherry blossoms, so these must be plum blossoms.

They beckon me to walk among them.  Whether in the cold evening rain or in the backdrop of a morning's bright blue sky. I thank my Creator for His artistry and take time to notice the beauty that will tomorrow fade and fall.
