fallin' back

Sorry for such a lull in posts.  Life is just flying past and I am madly chasing after it.  Our life is always so full....full of blessings, but full of craziness too. After being sick so much and being away so much, I hope to fall back into a "normal" routine...just in time for a full holiday calendar ahead.

Here are some pictures I took about a month ago when Tim and I took an impromptu lunch date.  I was still sick at the time and it was all I could do to get out the door, but the fresh air did me some good.  We are trying to make more of an effort to do fun things in the midst of ministry life and stress.  Somehow when we are in America this naturally happens, but here we have to make a conscious effort. There aren't too many restaurants close by that we enjoy and can afford, so pizza in the park was our first choice. We miss our favorite Park Golf Dates of days past.

On this particular day we grabbed an over-priced, under-sized Pizza Hut pizza and had a picnic at the park.  It was still quiet warm and even though it didn't really feel like fall (notice the bug spray) I brought along some autumn to get us in the seasonal mood as we enjoyed the cooler-clearer day.  It's always wonderful to find a plot of trees and nature not too far away from home.
