This prayer, written by Betty Stam

who was a missionary martyred in China,

is my prayer as well.

I have written her words in the front cover of my Bible.

Oh, that this would not be just words on the page

or words from my mouth,

but words that describe my daily walk with Jesus,

my whole-hearted submission to Him.

"Lord, I give up all my own plans and purposes,

All my own desires and hopes and accept Thy will for my life.

I give myself, my time, my all, utterly to Thee

to be Thine Forever.

Fill me and seal me with Thy Holy Spirit.

Use me as Thou wilt, send me where Thou wilt,

Work out Thy whole will in my life

at any cost, now and forever."
