In the last few weeks we have had 3 bikes bikes stolen, 2 on one day and 1 taken another day; they were even locked. It has made us more aware that we have to be more careful and even when we are careful, there is still no guarantee. In a nation that is very safe (woman walk around at night and kids ride the train alone) bikes are a hot commodity.
So for now the boys are on foot, until we can get new-used bikes for them which is on our to-do-soon list. We have been praying for protection from accidents for our family as we wheel around town, I guess now we will be praying for protection from theft too.
