It's so funny that holidays that clearly mark our life and calendar here in the U.S. like Memorial Day and Labor Day, come and go without much notice in Japan. I'm afraid if you quized my kids they would be a little fuzzy about which is which, actually that would be me too. But since we are still here in the States we are enjoying a restful and fun-filled 3 day weekend as our second California summer officially comes to an end.
