Just around the corner...

Since you see advertisements to order expensive and beautifully decorated mini cakes (about US $30-40) you know that Christmas must be just around the corner here in Japan. Besides eating Kentucky Fried Chicken and fancy whip-creamed covered cakes, Christmas is just another workday in Japan and few of the 124 million Japanese know the true meaning of why we celebrate. Churches and missionaries are busy with outreaches, concerts and parties to share the Gospel message. Please pray with us that God would open many hearts this month to know clearly that Jesus is the reason for the season.
